President Krivokapić and H.E. Ms Minister Mogherini assessed that the relations between Montenegro and the Republic of Italy were traditionally good, both culturally and politically.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Ranko Krivokapić, expressed gratitude to the support of the Italian Republic, provided to our country in the Euro-Atlantic integration. ″Cooperation between the Parliament of Montenegro and both houses of the Italian Parliament is intensifying, especially when it comes to the exchange of knowledge and experience in the institutional strengthening of the rule of law″, Mr Krivokapić said.

Minister Federica Mogherini said that our country could rely on Italy as a country partner in our EU and NATO integration process, particularly during the Italian presidency of the EU Council.
