President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ranko Krivokapić met today with H.E. Ms Gudrun Elisabet Stainaker, newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany in Podgorica.

President Krivokapić and H.E. Stainaker assessed that the relations between Montenegro and Germany have traditionally been good, expressed through various forms of institutional cooperation and support.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr Ranko Krivokapić, expressed his gratitude to the support Germany provided to our country in the Euro-Atlantic integration. ″The Parliament of Montenegro has good cooperation with the Bundestag and we see some additional opportunities for the intensification of our relations, particularly at expert level in the process of accession to the EU and NATO″, Mr Krivokapić said.

Ambassador Stainaker said that our country was counting on Germany as a friendly and partner country, especially in the process of strengthening the rule of law and institutions. ″We will continue with projects that enable young people from Montenegro, as well as entrepreneurs, to carry out training in Germany″, was the message of the Ambasaddor Stainaker.
