President Krivokapić  and Senator Murphy assessed that relations between Montenegro and United States of America were friendly and partnering, especially in the field of Euro Atlantic integration.

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro assessed, during the talk with Senatire Murphy, that the next year was very important for Montenegro’s Euro-Atlantic path, therefore strengthening the rule of law represented key exam of our country on that path.

“It is important to emphasise once again that Montenegro is the only coastal part of Mediterranean, from Portugal to Turkey, which is not protected by NATO umbrella. Full commitment of the state to democracy and rule of law is a guarantee for Montenegro’s accession to Alliance”, said Mr Krivokapić during the talk with Mr Murphy.

Senator Chris Murphy confirmed that United States of America remained a partner to Montenegro and would continue to support Montenegro’s membership to NATO, stating that the rule of law was a main goal for the state and society.
