The city at the foot of Rumija is the symbol of civic Montenegro, the city that views the differences as one more value. Coexistence of all faiths and nations is the tradition of Bar and our country, and as long as it stays so we will be stronger than any challenge.

The Port of Bar as a kind of sea gate of Montenegrin economy and railway as an important traffic connection, make Bar a place where the roads meet. The future highway will create conditions for additional valorisation of resources of the Bar municipality.

I am certain that with your wisdom and skilfulness you will continue on the path of further development. Spatial planning and preserving the environment are common obligations in order to ensure the future for the generations to come, and Bar has shown that it indeed takes care of that.
