“Esteemed citizens,
Bishop Janjić, Archbishop Gaši,
I wish you to spend the days before us in the warmth of your family and home – the place from which a man draws power and support on his life path. These gentle days remind us of the importance of communion and cohabitation, because only together can we give more and better of ourselves for others, for the society as a whole.
We keep and defend Montenegro and its spirit of citizenship, by keeping that due to which we all need to be proud.
To all of you who celebrate Christmas according to the Gregorian calendar I wish good health, peace, personal and family happiness. Do not let the challenges of the new age and human weakness fog the warmth. With our arms extended to one another, let us go together toward the New Year more prepared for the future steps toward the society of a stronger system of values.
On behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and on my own behalf, I wish you a merry Christmas.”
Mr Ranko Krivokapić
