President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić today received Mr Bujar Nishani, President of the Republic of Albania.

President Mr Ranko Krivokapić and President Mr Bujar Nishani emphasized good relations between the two countries, and assessed that relations between Montenegro and the Republic of Albania could serve as a model of good neighbourly relations and friendship in this region.

During the meeting with the President of the Republic of Albania, President Krivokapić assessed that the two countries were on the same European path, which meant facing similar challenges. “Our countries remain with the challenge of strengthening the rule of law, because it is the most significant foundation of the country”, said Mr Ranko Krivokapić. “I hope that we will soon be together in the common European house”, said Mr Krivokapić. 

President of the Republic of Albania Mr Bujar Nishani assessed that the political relations of the two countries were friendly and meaningful, pointing out that there was a great room for economic cooperation in underutilised potentials. President Nishani expressed his support to our country for the full-fledged NATO and EU membership.
