On the occasion, the ceremony was organised in the Parliament, attended by representatives of the legislative, executive and judicial authorities, prosecution office, academic community, civil society, media outlets and diplomatic corps.

Ahead of the presentation of the Report, President Ranko Krivokapić organised a meeting directly before this ceremonious event with editors-in-chief of Montenegrin media outlets. The meeting was an opportunity for discussing topics from the field of media and freedom of expression, and how to respond on numerous challenges in that field, also threated by this year’s report.

The whole event was embellished by children from primary school "21. Maj” from Podgorica.
