Slovenia is the first country to ratify the NATO Accession Protocol for Montenegro after it had been previously adopted by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on 26 May 2016.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Darko Pajović will have an official meeting with President of the Republic of Slovenia Mr Borut Pahor and separate meeting with Speaker of the Slovenian National Assembly Mr Milan Brglez.

Joint press conference will be held after the meetings.

The visit to Ljubljana is the first official visit of President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Darko Pajović after he assumed the duty of the top man of the Montenegrin Parliament on 2 June 2016.
