The working class has with its hands and knowledge raised and built the fundament of contemporary Montenegro, which has given an opportunity to us, with clever preservation of the achieved, to go towards further development, with common aim of raising our country as close as possible to the society of social justice.The union and workers have to take their natural place and be the most deserving for each socio-economic success of Montenegro. The success of a society is reflected in the ability of a state to provide justice and ensure rights of workers. It has to be the first and most important duty of our state.I want this Holiday to be deserved rest for your work and effort. By evaluating our results, we shall express gratitude to Chicago demonstrators, whose protest has ensured better and fairer conditions for workers.On behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and my own behalf, I congratulate to you May 1 – the Labour Day “.
