President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Darko Pajović today extended a letter of condolences to the Speaker of the National Assembly of France Mr Claude Bartolone and President of the Senate of France Mr Gérard Larcher regarding the terrorist attack in Nice.

We are deeply shaken by the news of the death of a large number of innocent people in Nice. We condemn most severely the terrorist attack which is deeply inhumane and an act of cowardice against innocent people.Allow me to express, on behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and on my own behalf, our deepest condolences, grief and solidarity with France.

This tragic event indicates that intensive international cooperation is key in combating terrorism as a modern security challenge.
