The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapić opened today the National Anti-Corruption Conference organised by Network for Affirmation of NGO Sector (MANS)

The President Krivokapić said that the carriers of Montenegrin justice must primarily be the state institutions.

There are a lot of reforms, but not enough changes. Reform does not imply change, said Mr. Krivokapić in his opening statement at the conference. Mr. Krivokapić also pointed out that the strength of a country grows through responsibility and he added that Montenegro would be a European country to the extent to which it matured in the rule of law.

Apart from Mr. Krivokapić, the following also spoke at the conference: the Ambassador of the United States to Montenegro, Ms. Sue K. Brown, Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Mr. Mitja Drobnič, as well as Ms. Vanja Ćalović, the executive director of MANS.
