The upcoming presidential election in Montenegro werw the topic of the meeting. The interlocutors expressed assurance that the upcoming presidential elections would be held in fair and democratic atmosphere and in accordance with democratic standards as well.

President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Mr. Ranko Krivokapić, thanked the ODIHR mission for their attendance at the following election, emphasizing the significance of the permanent participation of that mission in election processes in Montenegro. Mr. Krivokapić stated that the constant improvement of democratic election process was of an exceptional significance as well as constant meeting of the new standards.
