The President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić received the co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe Ms Nursuna Memecan and Mr Kimmo Sasi.

Mr Krivokapić extended his gratitude to Ms Memecan and Mr Sasi on the occasion of their visit and for constructive support which the PACE Monitoring Mission has been providing for Montenegro.

Mr Krivokapić spoke with Ms Memecan and Mr Sasi on the constitutional amendments. The President Krivokapić informed the interlocutors on the additional opinion that the Venice Commission extended to the Montenegrin Parliament, as well as readiness of all political subjects to work on reaching a consensus on the constitutional amendments within the scheduled timeline.

Mr Krivokapić also informed his interlocutors on forming of new parliamentary committees as well as the work of the Inquiry Committee.
