“This is the first time that we celebrate 8th February as the Day of Golubovci, as a memory on a day when, in 1879, after the liberation from the Ottoman Empire, Zeta became a part of the Principality of Montenegro.

Even then, and even more so now, the tame, fertile and fruitful Plane of Zeta and its hardworking people guaranteed that on the path of the EU integration, the state of Montenegro would be able to offer the following to the great European community of peoples: quality agricultural products, top quality vine, various and rich tourist potentials of the Lake of Skadar, rivers Morača, Zeta and Cijevna, as well as honourable history spanning across centuries and liberal tradition.
