26th meeting of the Administrative Committee held

The Committee initiated the procedure for appointment of members of the Council of the Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG).

At their 26th meeting held today, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation initiated the procedure for appointment of members of the Council of the Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG), by issuing a Public Notice to the authorised proponents, six months prior to expiration of term of office of the current Council, in accordance with Article 33 of the Law on Public Broadcasting Services of Montenegro. The Committee formulated the text of the Public Notice and the Form for proposal for appointment of the members of the Council of the Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG).

The Committee has decided to:

- issue the Public Notice to the authorised proponents of candidates for members of the Council of the Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG), by publishing it in the Official Gazette of Montenegro, on the website of the Parliament and in the print media: “Pobjeda”, “Dan”, “Dnevne novine” and ND “Vijesti”;

- in accordance with the delivered Request of the Constitutional Court of Montenegro, No. 00-63-14/14-2 of 17 January 2014, compliant with the provision from Article 8 paragraph 2 of the Law on Salaries and Other Emoluments of Holders of Judicial and Constitutional Court Offices, adopt the adequate decision on salary for the President of the Constitutional Court Ms Desanka Lopičić;  

- in accordance with the Law Governing the Wages of the State and Public Officials, adopted the adequate decision on salary for the MP Danko Šarančić, MA, based on the Request No. 00-63-14/14-3  of 17 January 2014, by which he determined to hold the position of the MP professionally, compliant with Article 85 paragraph 2 of the Constitution of Montenegro;   

- in accordance with the Law on Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms, adopted the adequate decision on termination of rights arising from holding of office for the former deputy of Protector of Human Rights and Freedoms Mr Budimir Šćepanović, due to holding of another public position.

Under the item “Current issues”, the Committee got acquainted with the Information on Adopted decisions falling under the competence of the Administrative Committee in the period between 25th and 26th meeting of the Committee.
