At its 32nd meeting held today, the Administrative Committee has initiated the procedure for appointing the Chair of the State Election Commission and one member of the State Election Commission from among representatives of the civil society, nongovernmental sector and university, by publishing open vacancy notice, in line with the Article 30 of the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs.

The Committee decided to publish open vacancy notice for appointment of Chair and one member of the State Election Commission from among representatives of the civil society, nongovernmental sector and university on the website of the Parliament and in printed media - “Pobjeda”, “Dan”, “Dnevne Novine” and Independent Daily “Vijesti”.

The Committee also sent an Invitation to MPs Groups of the Parliament of Montenegro of 25^th convocation for submitting proposals for appointing nine members and deputy members of the State Election Commission.

The Committee continued the procedure for appointing the Gusinje Municipal Election Commission in line with the Law on Amendments to the Law on Territorial Organisation of Montenegro and the Law on Amendments to the Law on Election of Councillors and MPs.
