Administrative Committee holds its 58th meeting

Requests of the High and Basic Public Prosecutor’s Offices considered

At today’s meeting of the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation, the Committee has considered the Request of the High Public Prosecutor’s Office, File No: Kt 118/15 of 30 October and 4 November 2015, for granting approval for the initiation of the criminal procedure against Members of the Parliament of Montenegro - Mr Slaven Radunović and Mr Andrija Mandić, and Request of Basic the Public Prosecutor’s Office, File No: Kt 1042/15 of 30 October and 3 November 2015 for granting approval for the initiation of the criminal procedure against Member of the Parliament of Montenegro - Mr Milan Knežević.

Following the discussion, the Committee unanimously decided (total of 8 MPs voted - Mr Radivoje Lala Nikčević, Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Milorad Vuletić, Mr Saša Pešić, Ms Marta Šćepanović, Mr Radovan Obradović, Mr Rifat Rastoder, Mr Rešad Sijarić  and Ms Azra Jasavić, members of the Committee) to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation to reach a decision on granting approval for the initiation of the criminal procedure against Mr Slaven Radunović and Mr Andrija Mandić, Members of the Parliament of Montenegro, for the the criminal offence of calling for forced change of the constitutional order, referred to in Article 362, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro. 

The Committee also unanimously decided (total of 8 MPs voted - Mr Radivoje Lala Nikčević, Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Milorad Vuletić, Mr Saša Pešić, Ms Marta Šćepanović, Mr Radovan Obradović, Mr Rifat Rastoder, Mr Rešad Sijarić  and Ms Azra Jasavić, members of the Committee)  to propose to the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th Convocation to reach a decision on granting approval for the initiation of the criminal procedure against Mr Milan Knežević, Member of the Parliament of Montenegro, for the criminal offence of assault against a public official while performing his/her duties referred to in Article 376, paragraph 3 with regard to paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Montenegro.
