At today’s 65th meeting, the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro of the 25th convocation, with the aim of implementing the Law on Public Sector Salaries, which came into force on 16 March 2016, in the part of its responsibilities and commitment of harmonising the Committee’s acts with the Law on Public Sector Salaries in the public sector, adopted several decisions, namely:
1. Decision on coefficients of complexity of tasks for employees in the Service of the Parliament of Montenegro;
2. Decision on Amendments to the Decision on determining allowances for work engagement of professional and scientific workers;
3. Decision on repeal of the Decision on the right to a variable part of the wage and special allowances for employees in the Service of the Parliament of Montenegro;
4. Decision on repeal of the Decision on allowances for participating in the work of the Collegium of the President of the Parliament of Montenegro and working bodies of the Parliament; and
5. Decision on repeal of the Decision on determining a special allowances for Members of the Parliament of Montenegro.
Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Siniša Stanković participated in the meeting, in capacity of proposer of the act, in line with Article 67 paragraph 1 of the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure.
In the continuation of the meeting, and with regard to application of Article 26 para. 1 and 2 of the Law on Public Sector Salaries which says that “Employees in public sector shall not be entitled to other allowances except for those established by this law, allowances for membership in commission, council and working body established by the state body, body of a state administration, body of a local government and local self-government, independent regulatory body and legal persons”, decided to request the opinion from the Ministry of Finance.
