On the final day of the Autumn Session, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe considered the Report on combating discrimination against older persons on the labour market and Report on strengthening the institution of ombudsman in Europe.

We have good relations with all the countries in the Balkans, and especially with Montenegro - said the Minister Davutoğlu.

The importance of promotion of the oversight role of the Parliament of Montenegro was emphasised, in part of monitoring of implementation of the acquired acquis 

President Krivokapić and Minister Martonyi noted that relations between Montenegro and Hungary were exceptionally good

The Committee considered and positively voted on the Proposal for the Law on Communal Police and the Proposal for the Law on Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Montenegro and the People’s Republic of China on Promotion of Cooperation in Building of Infrastructure. 

Serbian President Mr Tomislav Nikolić addressed the Parliamentary Assembly, during the fourth day of the Autumn Session. He pointed out that Serbia was a step away from a great opportunity and that it would not miss it as well as that Serbia would use all its capacities in order to become European country in every respect, in accordance with the basic values of the Council of Europe – protection of human rights, the rule of law and democracy. 

The Vice President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Branko Radulović, professor PhD, with his associates, will attend the Sixth Conference of the Speakers of the Parliaments of the Western Balkans countries, hosted by the National Assembly of Hungary.

The meeting was marked by the continuation of the discussion and harmonisation of views on the concept of the State Election Commission.
