Mr Srđan Milić and Mr Milutin Simović, co-chairpersons of the Working Group for Building Trust in the Election Process will meet with Mr Rastislav Vrbensky, UNDP Resident Representative to Montenegro, tomorrow, on 13 September 2013.

Speaker Heinäluoma pointed out that the President Krivokapić deserved to be the head of the largest parliamentary assembly of the world by his many years of engagement in the OSCE .

Aimed at continuous sharing of information with the broad public on the European integration process, planned activities and new types of communication of the Committee on European Integration, the Chairperson of the Committee Mr Slaven Radunović will hold a press conference on Thursday 12 September 2013 in the Hall the Parliament of Montenegro (press position), starting at 12:00.

The meeting was marked by adoption of two draft laws

Followed by discussion lasting several hours at their thirteenth meeting, the Working Group for Building Trust in the Election Process adopted Draft Law on Voter Registers and Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Identity Card.

In the continuation of the meeting, the Working Group began discussion on Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Montenegrin Citizenship.

At their meeting the Working Group also reached an agreement to request additional time for their work from the Collegium of the President of the Parliament.

 “Parliaments in a changing Europe: Citizens and representative institutions in modern governance” is the topic of a two-day Conference organised within Twinning Project “Strengthening Capacities of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in the EU Integration Process” with the partnership of the Hellenic Parliament.
