During their conversation, the MP Dragičević explained to the students the manner of work of the Parliament of Montenegro in the working bodies and in the plenary sittings, the principles of democratic systems and the importance of elections for democracy. To the students’ question in what manner could the amendments to the laws be influenced, the MP Dragičević explained to them that the citizens could directly participate in the legislative process, by proposing the laws via the MP they authorised.    

 “Democracy Workshops” project is organised by the Parliament of Montenegro, with technical and professional support of the Forum Youth and Informal Education (Forum MNE) and financial support by the ERSTE foundation. The project is aimed at strengthening the interest of the young in democracy and political processes and contributing to better their understanding thereof.
