The students had the opportunity to learn from the high officials what characteristics an active and responsible citizen in a democracy state should possess, what were his rights and who protected them, as well as why they were important for each individual. Additionally, the students spoke with the guests on the role of the Parliament of Montenegro and its contribution to development of human rights, as well as the manner in which the work of the Council of Europe in the field of human rights influenced all of us.
Since the launching of the project on 8 October 2012 until today, the project “Democracy Workshops” has gathered 5,253 students from 59 primary schools and 19 Montenegrin municipalities.
