Delivering certificates to representatives of 47 schools, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro Mr Ranko Krivokapić stated that democracy is better when in the hands of children:

 “Representatives of the parliament are happiest when having an opportunity to meet with children. So far, almost seven thousands of children participated in the programme Democracy Workshops, and those who will decide in the future will be much better than we are”.

The Parliament of Montenegro has been organising the project “Democracy Workshops” since 8 October 2012. So far, 280 workshops were held, and 6544 students from 65 primary school across Montenegro participated in those. During the workshops, 231 children newspapers were made as well as 49 radio reports.
