“The main decorations of this country are not buildings nor procedures, but you”, was the message of the President Krivokapić. Mr Krivokapić said that by participating in the project “Democracy Workshops”, the children gained an irreplaceable feeling of love and respect toward their country, as well as a feeling for public good.

“As democracy in Montenegro grows, so grows the responsibility of the Parliament towards you”, added Mr Krivokapić.

The Parliament of Montenegro has been implementing “Democracy workshops” project since 8 October 2012. So far, 154 democracy workshops were held, attended by 3,607 students from 40 primary schools from Montenegro, as well as 108 professors who accompanied the children. During the workshops, 147 children’s newspapers and 7 radio features were created.
