PACE delegation to observe the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova is composed of 25 members, headed by MP Jean-Claude Mignon. Members of the observation mission will stay in the Republic of Moldova from 28 November to 1 December 2014 and will have meetings with leaders and representatives of political parties participating in elections, President of the Central Election Commission, as well as with representatives of non-governmental organizations and the media.
Member of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe, who will provide legal assistance to PACE MPs during the election observation, is also in the delegation.
Beside the PACE delegation, parliamentary elections will be observed by observers of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, European Parliament and Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).
Joint press conference will be held upon completion of parliamentary elections on 1 December 2014.
