On day two of the 90th Rose-Roth seminar, the participants discussed Moldova’s relation with Russia during the third session. The session was moderated by Vice Chairperson of the NATO PA Economics and Security Committee Mr Franklin van Kappen from the Netherlands, and on this occasion Mr Vladimir Socor, representative of the Jamestown Foundation, and Director Executive of the Institute for Public Policy Mr Arcadie Barbăroşie also delivered speeches.

The fourth session of the seminar was devoted to the topic: "Transnistria: Finding a Solution",  moderated by Chairperson of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Ms Valentina Buliga, and the following had presentations on the topic: Deputy Prime Minister of Moldova for Reintegration Mr Victor Osipov, independent expert, former Chief Negotiator Mr Vladimir Yastrebchak from Transnistria, as well as a Research Fellow at the European Leadership Network (ELN) Mr Thomas Frear.

The part of the gathering dedicated to the topic "Aggression against Ukraine: its Implications for Regional and Global Security” was moderated by Chairperson of the Sub-Committee on Transatlantic Economic Relations (ESCTER) Mr Menno Knip from the Netherlands, while Director of the School for Policy Analysis, professor Olexiy Haran, and Senior Fellow at the Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW) from Warsaw Mr Witold Rodkiewicz delivered speeches on this topic.  

During the sixth session on the topic "Eastern Neighbourhood and Relations Moldova-European Union after the Riga Summit", the discussion was led by Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Ms Liliana Palihovici, while the participants of the gathering were addressed on this occasion by: Head of EU Delegation to Moldova Ambassador Mr Pirkka Tapiola, visiting scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace Mr Balázs Jarábik and Programme Director of the Foreign Policy Association of Moldova Ms Victoria  Bucataru - who spoke on the topic "Moldova’s view of the challenges of European integration".

The 90th Rose-Roth seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, hosted by the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, will be continued tomorrow.
