At the sixth meeting of the Anti-corruption Committee held today, which was attended by Mr Duško Marković, Vice President of the Government and Ministry of Justice, action plans of the Government for Chapters 23 and 24 in the part of judiciary, fight against corruption and fight against organised crime were considered.
Within the current issues, MANS initiative was considered through which the following would be considered – providing the independence of councils and local offices for offences through the change of legislative framework, in the part relating to the appointment and dismissing of judges for offences, proposal for holding control hearing in line with Article 12 of the Decision on Amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament of Montenegro, as well as the note of the Secretary General of the Parliament of Montenegro by which the note of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Government was forwarded, relating to membership of the Chairperson of the Anti-corruption Committee in the National Commission for Implementation of the Strategy for Fight against Corruption and Organised Crime.
