At their second joint meeting held today, the Anti-corruption Committee and the Committee on Political System, Judiciary and Administration held a consultative hearing on the occasion of introducing a new criminal offense "illicit enrichment of public officials" in accordance with Article 20 of the UN Convention against Corruption.

In addition to members of the two committee, the following attended the meeting: Mr Zoran Pažin, Minister of Justice; Mr Raško Konjević, Minister of Interior; Mr Ivica Stanković, Supreme Public Prosecutor; Ms Đurđina Ivanović, Special Prosecutor; Mr Mladen Vukčević, Chairperson of the Judicial Council; Mr Slobodan Leković, Chairperson of the Commission for Prevention of Conflict of Interests; Ms Vanja Ćalović, Executive Director of the NGO MANS; Mr Boris Marić, representative of the Centre for Civic Education; and Mr Zoran Vujičić, representative of the Civic Alliance.
