At its 40th meeting held today, the Anti-corruption Committee considered the current state of affairs in the negotiation process between Montenegro and the European Union in part of anti-corruption and organised crime, relating to Chapter 23 - Judiciary and fundamental rights and Chapter 24 - Justice, freedom and security, which falls under the competence of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, and review of mutual cooperation between the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Anti-corruption Committee for the period since the election of Supreme Public Prosecutor.
The meeting was also attended by Supreme Public Prosecutor Mr Ivica Stanković and Chief Special Prosecutor Mr Milivoje Katnić.
