The Chairman of the Security and Defense Committee, Mr. Mevludin Nuhodžić, met today H.E. Mr. Vladimir Gasparič, the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to Podgorica. 
The Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Mevludin Nuhodžić pointed to the importance of overall participation of Montenegro in Membership Action Plan (MAP) and introduced the Ambassador with the work and conducted activities of the Committee in previous period. 
Furthermore, The Chairman Nuhodžić said that the Committee will in the following period fully support the entities from the security and defense sector in meeting the conditions and reaching established standards in the process of European and NATO integration.
The Ambassador Gasparič, during the conversation, noted the importance of achieved progress of Montenegro in the area of Euro-Atlantic Integration and stressed the significance of informing citizens on NATO integration of Montenegro. 
On this occasion, special emphasis was given to the issue of strategy of promotion, where the Ambassador stressed that political and military tasks that Montenegro should meet commence with the public support, which may be raised if the strategy is seriously implemented.
