Chairperson of the Security and Defence Committee Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić today opened a two-day seminar titled – Dilemmas in Montenegro with regard to NATO integration.
Speaking on dilemma of Montenegro’s positioning in the collective security sector, Mr Nuhodžić said that NATO represented insurance police for safe life on Balkans, adding that in conditions of global threats, a concept of neutrality was hardly sustainable. Mr Nuhodžić stresses that neutrality as a choice of the state should be considered from historical, political and geographical aspect. In the addressing to students of the School of Euro-Atlantic Integration, he said that membership in NATO was economically far more convenient for the country - than the concept of neutrality.
The seminar “Dilemmas in Montenegro with regard to NATO integration” is organised by Center for Monitoring and Research.
