The Committee was attended by representatives of the Council for Defence and Security, and was informed of the mandate and objectives of the international mission "Resolute Support (RS)" in Afghanistan, and planned activities to assist the Afghan national security forces, so that those forces could reach the required level of functionality and capability, and autonomy in establishing and maintaining a secure environment in the entire territory of the country.

In accordance with the above said, the Committee, with the majority of votes, proposed to the Parliament to adopt the Proposal for the Decision on sending members of the Military of Montenegro to the international mission „Resolute Support – (RS)“ in Afghanistan.
