The Deputy Commander of the Coast Guard presented to the audience the topic "The Croatian Coast Guard and Regional Cooperation" during which participants of the study visits were presented with the normative framework and organizational structure of the organizational units, monitoring areas of responsibility, equipment, challenges and other significant issues. Then, the participants of the study visit, had the opportunity to discuss with the Ambassador H.E. Mr. Branko Barićević the topics: "The experience of the Republic of Croatia in negotiations for joining the European Union" and "Combating Corruption and Organized Crime."

At the end of the first day of the visit, members of the Committee were also addressed by the Director of USKOK, Mr. Dinko Cvitan, who spoke on the topic “Combating Corruption and Organized Crime”.
