The meeting was concentrated on Euro-Atlantic integration, with reference to reform of Montenegrin defence and security system and support of public with regard to Montenegro’s membership to the NATO. Participants of the meeting presented the composition and manner of work of working bodies they belonged to, jointly assessing that it was necessary to strengthen the support of public through regular and adequate informing of citizens about the advantages of the NATO membership.

Chairperson and members of Security and Defence Committee: Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić, Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić, Mr Luiđ Ljubo Škrelja, Ms Snežana Jonica, Mr Velizar Kaluđerović and MP Mr Goran Tuponja met members of Montenegrin and Belgian Parliamentary Friendship Group Mr David Geerts, Ms Meryame Kitir and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Montenegro Mr Leo D’Aes.
