Chairman of the Security and Defence Committee, Mr Mevludin Nuhodžić, met today with the Director of the Security Policy Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Mr Tomáš Szunyog. The meeting was attended by the Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Podgorica, Mr Petr Šmejkal.

The subject of the meeting was integration of Montenegro to NATO and the security situation in the region, discussing the role of the Security and Defence Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro in this process, as well as the issue of public support relating to Montenegro's membership to NATO.

On this occasion, the support of the Czech Republic to the Euro-Atlantic path of Montenegro was highlighted.
