Members of the Security and Defence Committee today participated in the roundtable titled: “Perspective of Armed Forces of Montenegro within NATO Structure”, organised by the Atlantic Council of Montenegro as a part of the project “NATO days”.
The introductory remarks in the gathering were given by President of the Atlantic Council of Montenegro Mr Savo Kentera, President of the Atlantic Treaty Association Mr Fabrizio W. Luciolli, as well as Hungarian Ambassador to Montenegro Mr Krisztian Posa.
During the discussion, special focus was placed upon achievements in the reform of the Montenegro Armed Forces, future steps in the given plan, and experiences of armed forces of other countries in NATO missions/operations. Furthermore, the research of the Atlantic Council was presented on the citizens’ attitude about military service in Montenegro.
MPs Mr Obrad Mišo Stanišić and Mr Luiđ Ljubo Škrelja participated in the gathering.
