At the meeting held today, under the item – Realisation of Conclusions of the Parliament of Montenegro regarding independent regulatory bodies, the committee considered the materials on the internal measures for decreasing operating costs, as well as the opinion of the Ministry of Finance. After a discussion lasting several hours, the committee concluded that it would consider the scope and reality of the proposed savings and determine a framework for preparation of the proposal for the amendments to the financial plans for 2013, after the Ministry of Finance submits its innovated opinion, for each regulatory body individually.

The committee got acquainted with the Information on the Internal Measures of the Central Bank of Montenegro for reduction of operating costs under conditions of economic crisis.

The committee also got acquainted with Performance Report of the Fund for Deposit Protection for 2011, and, bearing in mind the current socio-economic state, concluded that it was necessary for the Fund to undertake adequate measures of rationalisation of costs, as well as to submit to review the financial plans for 2012 and 2013.

The committee decided to propose to the Parliament for adoption the Proposal for the Law on Railway as well as the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Harbours.

Regarding the Statute of the Agency for Insurance Supervision, the committee concluded that there were no objections and that, in accordance with the Article 178 of the Law on Insurance, consent to this act might be given.
