- to be the citizen of Montenegro;
- to have a permanent residence in Montenegro;
- that criminal proceeding is not conducted against him/her and
- to have general health ability.
In addition to the general requirements, a candidate for the member of the Senate of the State Audit Institution must meet the following specific requirements:
- To have university degree – Bachelor of Laws or Bachelor of Economics;
- To have completed the following:
- bar exam or the exam for the state auditor and minimum 10 years of professional experience or minimum 10 years of work experience in performing responsible legal jobs in state administration; or
- passed exam for the state auditor and minimum 10 years of work experience or a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the performing responsible jobs in the public finances; and
$13. To be the citizen of Montenegro.
Member of the Senate cannot perform his/her duty if there is a conflict of interest with reference to Articles 35 and 36 of the Law on State Audit Institution.
Duty of a member of the Senate is permanent.
Open vacancy notice will be published in daily newspapers: "Pobjeda", "Dan," ND Vijesti", "Dnevne novine" and on the website of the Parliament of Montenegro.
The deadline for submission of applications is 15 (fifteen) days from the day of the last publication of the public call.
Late or incomplete applications that are missing all the necessary requirements will not be considered.
Candidate applications must include: name and surname, address, short biography of the candidate, e-mail address and telephone number.
A person who is running for the member of the Senate of the State Audit Institution shall submit his/her application with complete documentation to the following address: Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget of the Parliament of Montenegro, Podgorica, Bulevar svetog Petra Cetinjskog no. 10, stating "For Public Call for appointment of a member of the Senate of the State audit Institution ".
