During the seminar, a model that would allow the integration of the energy markets, the creation of a stable energy environment, but also the shortcomings of the SEE countries, related to the size of the energy market, outdated infrastructure and inadequate utilization of renewable energy sources were discussed.
Furthermore, representatives of parliamentary delegations from the South-Eastern Europe presented energy infrastructure priorities of their respective countries, after which EU energy infrastructure priorities until 2020 were presented.
Apart from the parliamentary delegation of Montenegro and representatives of the European Parliament, the seminar was attended by delegations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and Turkey.

Parliamentary seminar on “EU Energy Policy and its impact on countries in association process” ended
Members of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget attended the parliamentary seminar on “EU Energy Policy and its impact on countries in association process” where the Community Energy Strategy was analyzed and challenges and necessary measures were presented that candidate countries and countries in association process needed to make to reform their energy sector.
