Chairperson of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget Mr Aleksandar Damjanović, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee Mr Damir Šehović and member of the Committee Mr Filip Vuković met today with representatives of the Expert Mission for a Sector Budget Support within the European Commission Directorate General for Enlargement - Mr Jérôme Dendura, independent expert and Ms Donka Prodanova, project manager for internal market and financial control, for the purpose of exchanging information in order to determine the first estimates of managing the public finance and macroeconomic stability.

Topics covered in the meeting referred to the current situation and opportunities for improvement of managing the public finance, transparency and budget oversight, as well as to macroeconomic conditions of Montenegrin economy, with special focus on cooperation between the Parliament of Montenegro, through the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget, and the Government of Montenegro, Ministry of Finance and State Audit Institution.
