At today’s meeting, the Committee has supported the Proposal for the Law on Amendments to the Law on Administrative Fees and Proposal for the Law on Security Protection of Ships and Ports.

The Committee adopted the 2015 Performance Report of the Committee, noting the following: in the reporting period the Committee held 38 meetings during which it considered 179 items of the agenda, of which 58 proposals for laws; the Committee also marked 293 participations at its meetings, in line with Article 67 of the Ruled of Procedure of the Parliament, of which 31 participations were by representatives of the non-governmental organisations.  Within its oversight role, the Committee held control and consultative hearings, and continuously monitored the implementation of 39 parliamentary conclusions.  In addition, the Committee has continued international cooperation carried out through parliamentary seminars, conferences, meetings and exchange of experiences with representatives of other states’ parliaments.
