At today’s meeting, the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget held a control hearing of: Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism Mr Branimir Gvozdenović and Ms Biserka Dragičević, Acting Secretary of the Secretariat for Development Projects, for the purpose of determining facts and circumstances with regard to validity of the issued guarantee, in line with Annex to the Contract, on completing construction works on the hotel “As” in Perazića Do.

During the discussion, parliamentarians posed numerous questions to the persons invited to the control hearing with regard to: Contract and Annex to the Contract on purchase and sale of hotel “As”, i.e. protection of state interests in case of contract termination and possible harmful effects on investors and the state; activities implemented so far; deadline for issuing construction permit; validity of the issues guarantee, procedure for determining thereof, as well as current developments with regard to the said; connection between termination of the Contract and arrival of strategic investors in hotel group “Budvanska rivijera”; oversight of the Commission for control of investments, etc.

At the end of the discussion, they pointed out to the possibility of proposing conclusions to the Parliament of Montenegro with regard to the hearing, in line with Article 77 of the Rules of Procedure.
