At its meeting held today, the Committee, starting from the 2016 Work Plan and monitoring the implementation of laws, was informed on the Conclusions of the Government of Montenegro with regard to consideration of the Information on the problems in implementing the Law on settling obligations towards the workers of Aluminium Plant who retired early due to bankruptcy of the company.

Starting with the initiative by MP Mr Aleksandar Damjanović, the 2016 Work Plan of the Committee, and conclusions of the Parliament of Montenegro with regard to consideration of the 2014 Final Budget Statement of Montenegro, the Committee adopted the Decision on holding of the control hearing of Minister of Finance Mr Raško Konjević and Director of the Tax Administration Mr Miomir M. Mugoša, with regard to the opinion of the State Audit Institution on audit of success of the “Efficacy of Tax Administration in Implementing Measures for Tax Debt Collection”. The time of holding of the hearing will be determined subsequently.

Furthermore, the Committee considered the 2015 Performance Report of the Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro, which is submitted to the Parliament of Montenegro for reading, in accordance with Article 18 of the Law on Investment and Development Fund of Montenegro.

It was agreed that 145th meeting of the Committee - the control hearing of Minister of Health Mr Budimir Šegrt - instead on 31 May 2016 should be held on 1 June 2016, starting at 10:00h (Blue Room).
