At its twelfth meeting held today, the Committee considered the Performance Report of the Central Bank for 2012 which, inter alia, contains analyses of macroeconomic environment and situation of economy, implementation of policy of the Central Bank in the reported year as well as macroeconomic prognoses, policies and guidelines of the Central Bank for the following year. Since the result of the voting was five “for” and five “abstained”, the Committee stated that the Report was not supported by requested majority.
In addition, pursuant to Article 71, paragraph 6 of the Law on the Central Bank of Montenegro, the Committee got acquainted with Financial Report of the Central Bank of Montenegro for 2012, with the opinion of independent external auditor. The Committee got acquainted with the Financial System Stability Report as well as the Price Stability Report for 2012, which, in line with the Law on the Central Bank of Montenegro, were submitted to insight.
In line with the Article 16 of the Law on Concessions, the Committee got acquainted with the Commission on Concessions Performance Report 2012.
The Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget did not support initiative for holding control hearing of the Minister of Economy, Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs and Minister of Culture on state guarantees issued in 2010 and 2011, submitted by MP Mladen Bojanić.
