The Committee, at their fourteenth meeting held today, supported the initiative submitted by the MP Aleksandar Damjanović, having in mind the assessments and views regarding consideration of the State Audit Institution Report on audit of state guarantees of the Government of Montenegro, issued in 2010 and 2011, and made a decision on holding a control hearing of the Supreme Public Prosecutor. It was agreed that the Committee, in the time that will be established afterwards, will hold a control hearing.

The Committee also considered the 2012 Annual Performance Report of the Securities Commission and Status of the Securities Market, and Proposal for Declaration on Accelerated Energy Development, submitted by the MPs of Democratic Front. Following the voting, the Committee concluded that the said acts did not obtain the necessary majority.

Having in mind the situation in the Black Coal Mine in Berane and endangered health of the miners who are in the pit “Petnjik”, vulnerability of the state property, as well as the problems of other employees in the said collective, the Committee asked the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Economy to proceed urgently in order to solve this problem.
