At the sixteenth meeting of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget held today, the Proposal for the Law on Electronic Communications was considered and proposed for adoption to the Parliament.
During the two-hour discussion, the submitting of amendments to the suggested proposal for the law was announced.
Under the item of the agenda current issues, the Committee decided to hold a control hearing of the Supreme Public Prosecutor on 3rd July 2013, on the possible existence of illegal actions or violation of interest of the state regarding the current problem of functioning of the energy system of Montenegro, caused by the unauthorised supply of the Aluminium Plant Podgorica (KAP) with the energy from the European interconnection.
Additionally, it was announced that a Committee meeting would be held mid-July, where the implementation of the Parliamentary conclusions adopted regarding consideration of the Proposal for the Law on the 2013 State Budget should be considered, as well as the implementation of recommendations of the State Audit Institution, supported regarding consideration of the Proposal for the Law on 2011 Final Budget Statement of Montenegro.
