The Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget held a control hearing of the acting Supreme Public Prosecutor Mr Veselin Vučković, for the purpose of collecting information on the possible existence of illegal operations and violation of the interest of the state regarding the current problem of supplying the Aluminium Plant Podgorica (KAP) with electrical energy.
Ms Ljiljana Radović, Deputy Supreme Public Prosecutor, as well as Mr Branislav Radulović PhD, a member of the Senate of the State Audit Institution, also attended the meeting.
Representatives of the Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office notified the Committee that the Prosecutor’s Office were in the stage of collecting information and evidence on the possible existence of illegal operations and violation of the interest of the state regarding the current problem of supplying the Aluminium Plant Podgorica (KAP) with electrical energy, and that they would timely notify the public on their findings.
In the course of the discussion at the Committee meeting, various positions regarding the issue at hand had been expressed and numerous questions had been posed to the representatives of the Supreme Public Prosecutor’s Office.
