At the eleventh meeting, member of the Committee on European Integration from DPS MP Group Mr Jovan Martinović was unanimously elected Deputy Chairperson of the Committee.

Within the second item of the agenda, Mr Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, Chief Negotiator of Montenegro with the EU, and Mr Vladimir Savković, member of the Negotiating Group for Chapter 7, presented the Draft negotiation position of Montenegro for Inter-governmental Conference on Accession of Montenegro to the European Union for Chapter 7 - Intellectual Property Rights. Present MPs were informed on the EU acquis in this field as well as planned activities necessary for the purpose of fulfilling the commitments of the Chapter 7.

Members of the Committee on European Integration unanimously adopted positive opinion on the Draft negotiation position, and they would inform the Ministry of Foreign affairs and European Integration on that.

The meeting of the Committee was also attended by the parliament committees which, in line with the Rules of Procedure, have competences within the Chapter 7 – Committee on Education, Science, Culture and Sports and Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget.
