At the meeting held today, members of the Committee on European Integration reviewed the Draft of the Negotiation Position of Montenegro for the Intergovernmental Conference on Accession of Montenegro to the European Union for Chapter 9 - Financial Services, Draft of the Negotiation Position of Montenegro for the Intergovernmental Conference on Accession of Montenegro to the European Union for Chapter 21 – Trans-European networks and Draft of the Negotiation Position of Montenegro for the Intergovernmental Conference on Accession of Montenegro to the European Union for Chapter 30 – External relations.
Drafts of negotiation positions were presented by the State Secretary – Chief Negotiator for negotiations over Montenegro's accession to the European Union, Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, Head of the Working group on Chapter 9, Ana Vlahović, negotiator for the chapter 21, Angelina Živković as well as the Head of the Working group on Chapter 30, Goran Šćepanović. The meeting was attended by some members of working groups on these three chapters, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration. Members of the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget participated in the meeting, the competence of which was the content of these chapter.
After the presentation of the content of drafts of negotiating positions and the debate on specific issues, members of the Committee on European Integration unanimously gave the positive opinion of the Draft of the Negotiation Position of Montenegro for the Intergovernmental Conference on Accession of Montenegro to the European Union for Chapter 9 - Financial Services, Draft of the Negotiation Position of Montenegro for the Intergovernmental Conference on Accession of Montenegro to the European Union for Chapter 21 – Trans-European networks and Draft of the Negotiation Position of Montenegro for the Intergovernmental Conference on Accession of Montenegro to the European Union for Chapter 30 – External relations.
