At today’s meeting of the Committee on European Integration, which was closed to public, the Committee members considered the Report on negotiation chapter for chapter 16 – Taxation and the Report on negotiation chapter for chapter 29 – Customs union. The said reports, which represent the sublimation of activities within the mentioned chapters, were presented by Ambassador Mr Aleksandar Andrija Pejović, State Secretary – Chief Negotiator for negotiations over Montenegro’s accession to the European Union and Mr Nikola Vukićević, a member of the negotiation group for chapters 16 – Taxation and 29 – Customs union, while Mr Novo Radović and Mr Mitar Bajčeta, heads of working groups for chapters 16 and 29 spoke in details about the content of the documents. After a substantive discussion, members of the Committee on European Integration decided unanimously to give positive opinion on the Report for chapter 16 – Taxation and Report for chapter 29 Customs union, and it would formally inform the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration on that.
